Orlando, FL : Vehicles collide, land in Orlando home's front yard May 15, 2014

Two vehicles collided and ended up in the front yard of a home on Ferncreek Avenue.

The crash happened Thursday evening on South Ferncreek and East Harding Street, south of Kaley Street.

Police said a truck tried to pass a vehicle on a double yellow line and lost control because of the wet roads. The driver overcorrected and collided with a Ford Focus traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles ended up in the front yard of the house.

Crews had to extricate the driver from the Ford Focus. That person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
