Santa Clara,CA : Authorities identify man killed in violent Santa Clara crash on March, Monday 26th 2018

A man killed in a violent crash in Santa Clara last week has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office as Jeren Nedd, 30, of Seaside.

Nedd was speeding the wrong way on El Camino Real east of Lafayette Street about 4:45 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his 1990s Toyota Camry, veered off the roadway, crashed through a retaining wall and finally collided with a pair of shipping containers in the parking lot of The Mission Inn, according to Santa Clara police.
