2 teens die, 1 seriously hurt in single-car crash in Livermore Iowa
Two teenagers were killed and another seriously injured in an early morning single-car crash in northern Iowa.The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, three miles east of the Humboldt County town of Livermore when a car driven by 18-year-old Cody Weisbrich dropped off the edge of the roadway. The car rolled and then slid to a stop on its roof.An 18-year-old passenger, Cody Schachtner, died in the crash and 19-year-old passenger Joshua Naeve was pronounced dead at a Humboldt hospital.Another passenger, 19-year-old Landon Nokleby, was taken to Humboldt, then airlifted to a Des Moines hospital.Weisbrich and 19-year-old passenger Tyler Zaugg were treated in Humboldt and released.All those in the car were from Humboldt.
