PAWTUCKET, RI : Man killed in Pawtucket crash on Thursday, 8th April 2021

Rhode Island State Police are looking for witnesses to a single-car accident on Interstate 95 Thursday morning that killed an Attleboro man.

Osman Eduardo Lopez-Enriquez, 19, died after his car crashed into a cement barrier in the median of Interstate 95 Southshortly before 6 a.m., according to police.

He was pronounced dead at the scene in the area of Exit 27, about 500 feet south of the Walcott Street overpass and about a mile from the Attleboro border, police said.

Lopez-Enriquez was driving a Toyota Scion in the high speed lane when his car veered left, struck the median and rolled over, police said.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to police.

Capt. John Allen of the Rhode Island State Police said good Samaritans stopped after the crash but no one witnessed it.

Police are looking for witnesses to the accident but believe they know how it occurred.

“We’re confident this was the only car involved,” Allen said.
