Anaheim, CA : Motorcyclist dies, passenger hospitalized after crash in Anaheim on Sunday, 16th February, 2020

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died and a woman riding with him suffered serious injuries from a collision with a car in Anaheim on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Authorities received multiple 911 calls at about 8:40 p.m. regarding the crash near Ball Road and Trident Street, Anaheim police Sgt. Jake Gallacher said.

The man driving the Honda motorcycle and his passenger, also 22, were taken to UCI Medical Center but the man died.The driver of the other vehicle, a silver Toyota, was evaluated by officers and did not show signs of intoxication, Gallacher said.

The collision was under investigation. Further details of the crash were not available.
