A Crestview man was killed Saturday night following a motorcycle accident on State Road 85, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
In the release, FHP reported that 46-year-old Bobby Wood was operating a 2013 Harley-Davidson northbound on S.R. 85 at 8:37 p.m. when for unknown reasons the motorcycle veered left from the roadway into the grass median and began to overturn.
Wood, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and received serious injuries, according to FHP. He was transported from the scene to North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview where he later died from his injuries.
