A LaPorte man was killed in a crash with a semi-truck Wednesday in LaPorte County.

At about 10:15 a.m., Andrew Bladecki, 80, was driving a pickup truck west on Indiana 2 when he was struck by a semi-truck that was traveling north on County Road 450 and pulled into his path. The semi-truck driver, David Jones, 62, of Sheboygan, Wis., was not injured.

Bladecki, initially found unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle, was flown to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, where he was pronounced dead.
