The driver of a silver car needed to be airlifted from a Rowan County crash, Saturday evening.
The single-vehicle wreck happened just outside of Cleveland, NC on Third Creek Church Road.
It appears the car ran off the road and stopped when it hit a tree on the passenger's side. The male driver was pinned inside the car, but emergency crews were able to remove him to be treated.
State troopers have not said what cause the crash, but say speed was likely a factor.
