MELBOURNE, FL : Deadly crash involving 2 semi-trucks, pedestrian shuts down I-95 near Melbourne on Monday, 8th January 2024

A man has died after being hit and killed by two semi-trucks on Interstate 95 in Brevard County Monday morning, according to troopers.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 in the area of mile marker 190 in Melbourne.

Troopers said the 57-year-old Tonawanda, New York man, parked his vehicle on the I-95 outside shoulder and then walked into the direct path of a semi-truck.
