Wellfleet, MA : Three people injured in 2-car crash near the Southfleet Motor Inn Thursday, August 4, 2016

Three people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital Thursday after a two-car crash on Route 6, according to Wellfleet fire and police officials.

At around 2 p.m., rescuers responded to the crash scene near the Southfleet Motor Inn. Two women and one man were taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered not life-threatening, Wellfleet fire Capt. Thomas Ferreira said.

The crash caused extensive delays and traffic was reduced to one lane, according to police. The crash is under investigation by police.
