A semi-trailer truck crashed into a home in the Township of Adams in Jackson County, Friday afternoon.
The driver was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, according to the Black River Falls Fire Dept.
The homeowner was uninjured. Fortunately, he had woken up from a nap before the semi crashed into the bedroom area.
The truck had been traveling east bound on I-94 and came through a ditch crossing county Hwy A. Emergency responders stopped a fuel tank leak from the truck after around 60 to 65 gallons spilled into the soil.
The home received extensive structural damage and the Red Cross was called in to assist the homeowner.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating the crash.
