LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC : Driver of SUV dies in collision in Lexington County on Tuesday, 5th December 2023

A motorist is dead after a collision in Lexington County Tuesday afternoon, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Master Trooper William Bennett said the incident happened around 1:50 p.m. on December 5 on Shore Road, about ten miles north of Gilbert.
According to officials, the driver of 2023 blue Nissan SUV ran off the left side of the road struck a ditch, utility box and tree.
The driver was taken to Lexington Medical Center and later died.
