WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL : 3 adults, 4 children injured in crash on Rte. 148 on Friday, 2nd August 2019

Multiple people, including children, were hurt in a crash on Route 148 on Friday, August 2.
According to Illinois State Police, a 2002 Ford was going northbound on Route 148, .5 miles south of Grassy Road, when it crossed into the southbound lane and hit a 2017 Ford head-on.
It happened around 1:33 p.m.
The driver of the 2002 Ford, 45-year-old John M. Herring, of Murphysboro, the driver of the 2017 Ford, 26-year-old Anthony X. Brown, of Paducah, along with the adult passenger and four children in the 2017 Ford had “non-life-threatening” injuries.
Troopers say charges of improper lane usage were filed.
The roadway is open to traffic.
