A Monday motorcycle crash in Little Rock killed a 21-year-old man, and a crash in Lonoke County left one man dead Tuesday, according to reports from Arkansas State Police released Tuesday.
At around 10:53 p.m. Monday, Daniel West of Little Rock was driving a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle west on Cantrell Road when he ran into the rear of a Toyota that was going the same direction, police said. West was thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
James Coker, 40, of Cabot was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee south on Heffner Road at around 9:12 a.m. Tuesday when he failed to stop at an intersection and was hit by a 2016 Dodge that was going west on Arkansas 321, police said.
The Jeep overturned and ejected Coker while the Dodge left the road, police said.
The crash killed Coker and injured Dodge driver Sharon Catton, 41, and her passenger, a child whose name was not released. State police do not identity children involved in fatal crashes on Arkansas roads.
Police said the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of both accidents.
