Lowell, MA : Woman killed in Concord car crash on Saturday

A 59-year-old woman died after suffering major injuries in a single-car crash on Saturday morning.
The driver of 1999 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Main Street (Route 62). The car went off the road and crashed into a tree near 1800 Main Street just before 7:30 a.m,, according to a statement released by Concord Police Chief Joseph O'Connor.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Main Street was closed between Harrington Avenue and Forest Ridge Road from 7:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section responded to assist.
The crash is under investigation by the Concord Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the office of the Middlesex District Attorney.
At this time, police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors. The driver's name was not released.
