Seaford, DE : One man seriously injured in car crash on Laurel Road on Saturday, Oct 24, 2015

Delaware police are investigating a car wreck that left one man seriously injured in Seaford.

Police say the crash occurred on Saturday just before 6 p.m. when a man driving a Ford van and traveling on Laurel Road drove off the roadway. When he tried to swerve and drive back onto the road the van overturned several times before stopping.

Police say the driver was flown to a local trauma hospital where he was admitted with serious injuries.

Police say the wreck remains under investigation
