One person was killed and four were injured in a vehicle crash in Claiborne County on Friday, authorities said.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Louis Wolfe was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang south on U.S. Highway 25E when made a left turn onto Springdale Market in front of a northbound 2002 Dodge Ram pickup.

The Dodge struck the right side of the Mustang, splitting the car in two and ejecting the back seat passenger.

Wolfe's passenger, 36-year-old Susan Rucker, was killed.

Wolfe and a second passenger, 36-year-old John Holt, were also injured. According to the report, drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
The driver of the Dodge, 21-year-old Jason Sharp, and his passenger, 23-year-old Felina Sharp, were also injured.

Citations were issued in the crash and potential charges are pending, according to the accident report.
