Poplar, WI : Driver injured in a hit-and-run crash on U.S. Highway 2 in Poplar on Tuesday, January 6, 2015

Authorities have found the vehicle involved in a hit and run but the suspect remains at large.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help in locating a 1999 red Monte Carlo Chevrolet, believed to have been involved in a crash at 6:20, Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway Two in Poplar, Wisconsin.
Authorities say the suspect fled the crash scene, after crossing the center highway line and swiping two vehicles driving eastbound.
One of the drivers was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was spotted about a half mile from the scene on a back road near the polar gas tanks in town.
Authorities continue to search for the suspect.
