Longmont,CO : a man killed in a three-vehicle crash on April, thursday 27th 2017

The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified a man killed in a three-vehicle crash on Colo. 66 near Pace Street in Longmont on Thursday as 51-year-old Jeffrey Pearson of Platteville.

The Colorado State Patrol said that Pearson had been westbound on Colo. 66 when he crossed into oncoming traffic, sideswiped an SUV and collided almost head-on with a pickup truck.

Three other people were taken to the hospital following the crash. Drugs, alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash. The crash marked the sixth traffic fatality in Boulder County in April and the second in Longmont in less than a week.
