Beaver, UT : Three people injured following car-truck collision on I-15 in Beaver on Saturday, Nov 14, 2015

Three people were hospitalized following a collision between a semi truck and a passenger vehicle in Beaver.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reports that the incident happened on I-15 around 6 a.m. Saturday when the driver of the semi allegedly fell asleep.

Authorities say the truck drifted to the left and the driver woke up and over-corrected, leading to the semi rolling onto its side.

They say a car passing from the opposite side didn’t see the truck in time and collided with the bottom of the semi.

Both the driver and passenger in the semi and the driver of the other car were taken to a Beaver hospital.

But all three were released a short time later with minor injuries.
