Maryville, TN : One person killed in wreck on Old Knoxville Highway near Maryville on Tuesday morning, December 22, 2015

The crash happened around 4 Tuesday morning on Old Knoxville Highway near Sam Houston School road.

Tennessee Highway Patrol tells us the car was headed North when it lost control going around a curve. The car hit a tree.

The driver was the only person in the car.

A mandatory drug test has been ordered.

The name of the driver has not been released.
