East Amwell Township, NJ: One women seriously injured in Kingwood on Tuesday, August 4th 2015

The New Jersey State Police are investigating a serious accident on Old Highway Route 12 that sent a woman to a hospital and shut down the roadway for hours.The
accident was called in at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday and involves a car driven by the injured woman and a truck, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Williams.Williams called the accident “a head-on collision.” Preliminary investigation shows that the woman swerved in front of the truck, he said.“The driver in the Nissan was seriously injured, but it does not appear to be life-threatening,” Williams said. “Her arm is badly damaged.”The woman was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.As of 3:30 p.m., Williams said, both lanes of the roadway were closed.
