Warren County,OH : Victim identified in deadly Warren County crash on April, monday 1st 2017

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Warren County.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Eric A. Ruff from Hamilton died in the crash.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. on Monday on North Union Road near Shaker Road in Franklin Township.

The Sheriff’s Office says a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by a Middletown man lost control going around a curve and ran off the road. The vehicle hit a guard rail, hit some trees and ended up on its top in a ditch. Ruff was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people in the vehicle were taken to Atrium Medical Center with reported non-life threatening injuries.

CareFlight was put on standby to come to the scene, but did not end up making the trip, according to OSP.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by Franklin Township Fire/EMS, Clear Creek Township Fire/EMS, Warren County Coroner and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
