EAST HARTFORD, CT : Driver of stolen vehicle in custody after head-on crash on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

The driver of a stolen vehicle was taken into police custody after a head-on crash in East Hartford on Wednesday, according to authorities.

Police said the crash happened on Governor Street.

The suspect hit another vehicle when they were trying to get onto the highway, said police.

“The driver of the stolen vehicle fled on foot after the crash and was taken into custody very shortly after,” said East Hartford police.
