Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-car crash involving a tractor trailer caused a fire on Interstate 77.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened in Cleveland on I-77 northbound at milepost 158 - near Grant Avenue.
Troopers say a tractor trailer being driven by 57-year-old Gary Flesher, of Wakeman, Ohio, hit a guardrail before continuing on to hit a bridge.
The tractor trailer then overturned on its right side, causing it to lose part of its load that contained cement.
Troopers say a Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 46-year-old John Gorick Jr. of Cleveland was unable to stop and struck the tractor trailer.
After the impact, both vehicles were caught on fire, according to the Highway Patrol.
Both Flesher and Gorick were taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash shut down I-77 in both directions for several hours.
Southbound lanes reopened at about 3:30 p.m. and two lanes of I-77 northbound between Grant and Harvard avenues reopened at about 6:15 p.m.
