Memphis, TN : One person injured in crash near the East Raines Road on Thursday September 24 2015

One person went to the hospital after a crash involving a Memphis police cruiser.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Elvis Presley Boulevard and East Raines Road.
The officer was taken to Methodist North hospital in non-critical condition. The passenger in the second vehicle was taken to Regional Medical Center in non-critical.
Investigators said the driver was turning left into a driveway in the 4000 block of Elvis Presley when the car crashed with the MPD officer's cruiser.
The driver was given a citation for failure to maintain a safe lookout.
