Tractor-trailer crashes off bridge on U.S. 52, at least 7 injured

A tractor-trailer lost control on a bridge on U.S. 52 in Forsyth County and crashed through a guardrail, landing below and catching on fire.

The accident happened on U.S. 52 southbound at the bridge over Liberty Street at mile marker 110. Both lanes are closed.

According to police, at least seven people were injured and there have not been any life threatening injuries reported.
