GRATIOT COUNTY, MI : 22-year-old motorcyclist dies in Gratiot County crash on Thursday, 7th September 2023

A 22-year-old man is dead after colliding with a camper while riding a motorcycle in North Star Twp., according to the Gratiot County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on Thursday evening just before 6 p.m. on northbound US-127 near Pierce Rd.

Police say a pick-up truck and camper driven by a 57-year-old Troy man was turning onto Pierce Rd.

The 22-year-old motorcyclist behind the truck was unable to stop and rear-ended the camper.
