Jefferson County, WI : Pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle while walking on I-94 in Jefferson County on Saturday, December 6, 2014

An unidentified person walking in the eastbound lanes of I-94 in Jefferson County was struck and killed by a vehicle late Saturday night. The Wisconsin State Patrol said the incident occurred near Willow Glen Road, near Sullivan, and shut down traffic in the eastbound lanes of the freeway for several hours. Four occupants in the vehicle that struck the pedestrian were injured but were expected to survive. The State Patrol said it is investigating the accident.
