CHANTILLY, VA : Wrong way driver causes head-on crash on Rt. 28 in Chantilly on Friday, 22nd February 2019

Two people are hospitalized with critical injuries after a wrong way driver collided head-on with another vehicle on Rt. 28 in Chantilly early Friday morning.

According to Lt. Christopher Sharp, spokesman for the Fairfax County Police Department, an apparent wrong way driver travelling north in the southbound lanes of Rt. 28/Sully Rd. struck southbound vehicle at Westfields Blvd. shortly before 2:30 a.m. The two drivers of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
