WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA : Apparent head-on crash on Interstate 81 slows traffic in Luzerne County on Friday, 29th December 2023

A late-night crash on Interstate 81 south in Luzerne County tied up traffic.

It appeared two of the vehicles hit head-on.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday near the Highland Park Boulevard exit in Wilkes-Barre Township.

Ambulances were at the scene.
