Suncity , AZ : Golfer injured in crash after his golf car struck by a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Del Webb on Saturday , March 7th 2015

A golfer on his way to a morning round at Willow Creek Golf Course suffered head injuries and was taken to Banner Boswell Medical Center after his golf car was struck by a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Del Webb and Boswell boulevards around 8:20 a.m. Saturday.
According to the driver’s friends, his golf car was headed north in the intersection when it was struck by the SUV, which was making a left turn onto eastbound Del Webb from southbound Boswell.
There were no other injuries.
The SUV was being driven by a woman. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
No citations were immediately issued, according to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies on the scene. The accident remains under investigation
