Soperton , GA :State patrol identifies 3 people killed in car hit by truck on Interstate 16 east of Macon on Saturday , June 20 2015

Authorities have identified three people who died after a tanker truck smashed into the back of a car on Interstate 16.The Georgia State Patrol said Saturday that 27-
year-old Beverly Mclain Baird of Calhoun, 28-year-old Ricardo Jason Dewberry of Atlanta and 23-year-old Nicholas Ray Price of Aragon died in the crash.The state patrol
says a truck traveling westbound hit the back of a Toyota Scion driven by Baird around 3:35 a.m. Friday in Treutlen County, about 70 miles east of Macon.Both vehicles
crossed the median and entered the eastbound lanes of I-16.The truck's driver, 56-year-old Christopher Hinson of Lyons, was taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of
his injuries was unknown.The crash remains under investigation. No decision has been made on whether to file charges.
