NOLANVILLE, TX : An early-morning accident on Wednesday, June 28, 2017
An early-morning accident Wednesday left one vehicle totaled but the passenger injury-free, according to police.
“No one was injured,” Nolanville police officer Aaron High said. “When we got there, the driver was out and walking around on the shoulder of the road. He was the only passenger in the vehicle.”
The accident occurred about 9 a.m. on U.S. Highway 190 near the city limit line of Nolanville and Harker Heights. The truck that crashed was traveling east and was pulling a trailer at the time. High said it appeared that high winds in the area caused the trailer to sway, which then caused the driver of the truck to lose control.
“When we got there, the truck and the trailer were laying in the shoulder of the road,” High said. “The truck was completely smashed; it was totaled.”
The crash caused a traffic jam.
