Talladega County, AL : 20-year-old dead after being hit by car while standing in road following separate crash on Wednesday, 21st June 2023

A man was killed early Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car while walking on a road in Talladega County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Davis M. Turner of Anniston was in a separate crash and got out of his car. He was standing in the roadway on Priebes Mill Road when he was struck by a 2007 Ford Explorer. Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the incident happened approximately five miles north of Talladega.
