Fresno, CA : Man killed in crash on Highway 180 near Kerman on Wednesday, 24th August, 2016

One man was killed and Highway 180 near Highway 145 east of Kerman was closed for several hours Wednesday evening after a head-on collision.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the dead man as Jose Omar Munguia Martinez, 31.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at Whitesbridge and Howard avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident website. The highway was reopened to traffic just after 9 p.m.

No other information was immediately available.
