BALDWIN COUNTY, AL : Pedestrian injured in crash on I-10 in Baldwin County on Saturday, 20th July 2024
A two-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian shut down a portion of Interstate 10 in Baldwin County late Saturday afternoon and left the pedestrian seriously injured, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash happened on I-10 near the 46 mile marker around 5:05 p.m. Saturday when the driver of a 2025 Ram Rambler hit a pedestrian in the roadway, and then struck the pedestrian’s vehicle, a 2021 Toyota RAV4, ALEA said.
The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital in Mobile for treatment.
ALEA gave no information about why the injured person was out of their vehicle and in the roadway. Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
