Montgomery, AL : Duncanville man killed in crash on Alabama Highway 69 South on Tuesday, 14th April, 2020

A Duncanville man was killed in a crash on Alabama Highway 69 South Tuesday.

Charles Hartley, 81, died at the scene of the two-vehicle collision at the Mimosa Park Road intersection.

His wife, Johnnie Hartley, was hospitalized at DCH Regional Medical Center, said Tuscaloosa Police Lt. Teena Richardson. Johnnie Hartley was driving a 2004 Yukon south on Highway 69 and had entered the intersection when another driver crashed into the rear driver’s side door, Richardson said.

Rebecca Miguel of Cottondale was driving the 2007 Ford Edge involved in the crash, she said. Hartley died from injuries sustained when the SUV overturned.
