Linton, IN : Vehicle crashes into Linton CVS Pharmacy on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016
At approximately 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday evening, a vehicle crashed into the side of CVS Pharmacy in Linton.
According to Linton Fire Chief, Brad Sparks, the driver sustained minimal injuries, though was transported to the Greene County General Hospital for further examination. No one else was injured.
Linton CVS Manager, Carolyn Rotman, said the driver was an elderly woman who said she accidentally hit the gas after parking in a parking spot on the side of the building.
Rotman said one block is missing from the side of the building.
The impact of the vehicle caused merchandise in the cosmetic section to fall from shelves.
CVS Pharmacy will remain open for normal business hours.
