BERKELEY COUNTY, SC : Pedestrian dies following collision on Hwy 52 on Saturday, 27th January 2024

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a Saturday night fatal collision on Hwy 52 in Moncks Corner.
Troopers say a 2001 Lexus Sedan was traveling west on Hwy 52 near the intersection of Rembert Dennis Blvd when they struck a pedestrian crossing the street.
The pedestrian died at the scene. The Lexus driver was the sole occupant and was not injured.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the victim.
