Cleveland, OH : 56-year-old man killed when his motorcycle collided with SUV on Lorain Avenue at West 104th Street on Wednesday, May 11, 2016

A 56-year-old man killed late Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with an SUV has been identified.

Robert Ortiz, of Cleveland, was pronounced dead on Lorain Avenue at West 104th Street, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Ortiz suffered head injuries about 10 p.m. when he collided with a Ford Explorer in front of Lucky's Beverage & Deli, police said.

Cleveland police accident investigators towed the motorcycle and the Explorer from the scene.
