EMERYVILLE, CA : A woman died when a police pursuit ended with a crash on Sunday, 10th June 2018

A woman who died when a police pursuit ended with a crash has been identified by authorities.

Daphne Bailey, 40, who had addresses in Oakland and Antioch, died at the scene Sunday after the white car in which she was a passenger crashed into the front of a silver Chrysler, spun and struck a light post, police said. Officers from San Francisco had pursued the car after the two people inside it were seen kidnapping and assaulting a San Francisco woman, police said.
