Medina, OH : Creston man killed in Guilford Township crash early Wednesday morning, December 28, 2016

Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in a fatal rollover crash in Guilford Township early Wednesday morning, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Michael J. Kelly, 21, of Creston, died in the crash on Bell Road. Dylon Woody, 20, of Burbank, was taken to Wooster Community Hospital, according to a patrol news release.

Woody’s condition and who was driving were not available Wednesday.

About 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Woody and Kelly were westbound in a 2006 BMW 330i when it went left of center near Lee Road, then off the right side of the road before striking an embankment. The car rolled over several times.

Neither Kelly nor Woody was wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.

Seville police, the Medina County Sheriff’s Office and Seville-Guilford Fire Department assisted the patrol at the accident scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
