Huntington, WN: One westbound lane open after 7 cars and 2 tractor trailers crash on I-64 in Huntington on Thursday, July 16th 2015

According to Cabell County 911's Facebook page, one lane of Westbound is now open following a six vehicle accident.The accident happened Thursday evening, July 16 on I-64 near Westmoreland.An ambulance was called on scene and no updCabell County 911 dispatchers say the westbound lanes of I-64 have been shutdown at miler marker 4 1/2 near Westmoreland after seven cars and two tractors trailers collide.The lanes shut down run from the Kenova to the 17th Street exits.The accident happened just at 5:00 p.m. near the Huntington, WV city limits.911 dispatchers say the eastbound lanes of I-64 are also being shut down in the area so emergency vehicles can get to the scene.We have crew headed to the scene and we will bring you the latest information as we get it on our website and during our news broadcasts.
