A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck in northeast Charlotte Saturday night.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the 911 call came in around 9:12 p.m. from the 1400 block of Tryon Street. Medic took the pedestrian to Carolinas Medical Center in critical condition.
Police say the driver fled the scene.
Tryon Street and Bland Street were shut down for a little over an hour.
Detectives are investigating.
