Police believe Suski was struck by a light colored 1994 to 2000 model Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer. Police were able to narrow down the year of the vehicle from the driver's side mirror of the SUV, which was found at the accident scene. Police said the damaged SUV likely is a 1996 model. Suski was struck by the SUV and thrown into the center of the road, coming to rest on the double yellow line. She had multiple extensive injuries. Attempts to revive her were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Her walker was broken into nearly a dozen pieces scattered over a 100-foot area. Witnesses said the driver of the SUV slowed to a near stop in the center of the road, drove over pieces of the walker and then sped north on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. source : Police searching for SUV in fatal hit-and-run
