GORE, WV : 1 flown after logging accident on Tuesday, 18th October 2016

One patient was flown by HealthNet after a logging accident Tuesday morning.
According to 911 officials, the accident happened around 10:15 a.m. on Howard Run Road. Spelter firefighter Trevor Vance said they were called to the scene after a man was struck in the head by a tree he was cutting down.
The patient was flown by helicopter with the extent of injuries unknown at the time.
The Spelter Volunteer Fire Department, Lumberport Volunteer Fire Department, and Harrison County EMS all responded to the scene.
