A two-vehicle crash in East Feliciana Parish has taken the lives of an 86-year-old man and his 19-year-old granddaughter.
The crash happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Highway 67 north of Highway 422 near the Mississippi state line in East Feliciana Parish.

State Police say William Blalock and his granddaughter Ariel Foster, both of Liberty, MS were driving northbound on Highway 67 when Blalock crossed the center line and struck a tractor trailer head on in the southbound lane. The tractor trailer was driven by 46-year-old Sidney Rollins, III also of Liberty.
Both vehicles ran off the road and caught fire.

Rollins suffered only minor injuries.
