WINDSOR TWP, CT : No serious injuries in fiery crash near Potterville on Wednesday, February 1st 2017
Two SUVs caught fire during a three-vehicle crash near Potterville Wednesday night.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. on Lansing Road at the Interstate 69 interchange involving the SUVs and a passenger car.
The three people involved were not seriously injured in the accident, police said. The two SUV drivers were able to escape their vehicles before they caught fire, said Lt. Joseph Thomas of the Michigan State Police on Thursday morning.
Lansing Road was closed in both directions near the interchange for a time but was open as of 8:45 p.m., authorities said. Windsor Township Emergency Services also responded to the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
