THOMPSON, ND : Highway Patrol identifies driver hurt in truck crash in Grand Forks County on Friday, 7th September 2018

The North Dakota Highway Patrol identified the driver who was seriously injured when his truck went off the road and spilled about 6,000 gallons of hot tar in Grand Forks County.

The driver, Bradley Jackson, 21, of Woodlands, Man., was transported to Altru Hospital for what the Highway Patrol said were life-threatening injuries.Jackson was driving east on County Road 7 about 1:30 p.m. in a 2011 Peterbilt truck with a tanker trailer when the vehicle swerved to the right, the release said. The truck landed on its side and spilled tar, according to the release.
